On November 10th, Deputy Chief of Mission Chip Laitinen, together with three colleagues, visited the Chekhov community center to meet with representatives of the Baha'i community and discuss the educational and socio-economic programs being implemented by the community in Armenia.
A range of issues related to the protection of human rights in Armenia were discussed, and it was noted that the socio-economic programs being implemented by the community are open to all, regardless of age, religion, or nationality.
The Baha'i representatives shared about their efforts to contribute to the promotion of universal respect for freedom of religion and belief.
